George Tillquist Engineering Scholarship Fund

College Major: Engineering

Awarded to Ventura County residents who have previously graduated from a Ventura County high school and have completed two years of college. Applicants must be either currently enrolled as a sophomore at any California college or university or be transferring from a California community college as an incoming junior to a four-year California college or university. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need. Preference given to applicants majoring in Chemical Engineering.

Essay Required: In 500 – 700 words, tell us why you are pursuing a degree in engineering and explain what you hope to achieve when you become an engineer.
