Sin Fronteras/ No Borders Scholarship Fund

Awarded to Ventura County residents from the 93033 Oxnard ZIP code who are graduating high school seniors or past graduates who will enroll or are enrolled at an accredited community college, a vocational, trade or technical school, or a public or private four-year college or university. Students must have a minimum 2.8 unweighted GPA and they must demonstrate financial need. Preference in the selection process will be given to applicants who are immigrants and/or the child of an immigrant parent(s). Preference given to applicants who are bilingual. Preference will be given applicants who have graduated from Channel Islands High School, Hueneme High School, or Oxnard College Middle High School. Preference given to prior recipients of the Sin Fronteras Scholarship provided they continue to meet the other criteria.
