Smith Family Foundation Scholarship for Emancipated Youth

Foster Youth (current or former) – Age 24 or younger

Awarded to graduating high school seniors, high school graduates, or GED recipients who are age 24 or younger and who are or have been in foster care or a group home in Ventura County and who will attend or are attending an accredited community college or accredited four-year college or university in the state of California. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Preference given to applicants enrolling in a local four-year college or university, including: CSUCI, CLU, CSUN, or UCSB. Applicants may reapply in successive years.
