Dr. Richard A. Grossman College Scholarship- VCSF

Awarded to children of current full-time employees in good standing of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors or GED recipients enrolling at a community college, an accredited public or private 4-year college or university, or an accredited career/technical education institution. Preference in the selection process will be given to applicants who were prior recipients of the Dr. Richard A. Grossman College Scholarship. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Special Requirements: Students must identify the full name of the parent or guardian who is a fulltime employee in good standing of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.

Essay Required: In 300-500 words please tell us how being the son or daughter of a VCSO deputy or employee has influenced you as a college bound or college student.
