Rincon Environment and Climate Heroes (REACH) Scholarship Fund

Area of Interest: Environment

Awarded to residents of Ventura County who are graduating high school students, community college students: or college freshman, sophomores, or juniors who previously graduated from a high school in Ventura County. Applicant must be enrolled or intend to enroll full time at an accredited California college. Applicants must have minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA. Preference given to applicants who are first generation college students. Preference given to applicants who are African American or Black, Asian, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, Latino/Latina, or First Nations or Native American descent.

Required Essay: In 100 words, please describe why you are interested in environmentalism, and what you have done,or plan to do to preserve and protect the environment.
