College Major/Area of Study: Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant

Awarded to applicants who have graduated from a Ventura County high school, have completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, are currently a registered nurse, and will enroll in a master’s or doctorate program to become a Family Nurse Practitioner, OR applicants who will enroll in a Physician’s Assistant program to become a certified Physician’s Assistant. Applicants must intend to work in Ventura County upon completion of their studies. Preference given to female applicants. Preference given to Latino/Latina applicants. Preference given to past recipients of the ¡Adelante! 3 Scholarship.
