College Majors: Preference given to applicants majoring in one of the following: Asian Languages and Linguistics, Asian Humanities, Asian Studies, Child Development, Chinese, Cultural Studies, Early Childhood Education, Education, Elementary Education, Elementary or Secondary Education, East Asian Languages and Cultures, English Literature to become a teacher, Foreign Languages, Global Studies, Humanities, Liberal Arts, Liberal Studies to become a teacher, Linguistics, or Primary Education.

Awarded to applicants who are attending or have attended the Thousand Oaks Chinese School or California Lutheran University. Applicants must have a minimum 3.5 unweighted GPA required.
