Rincon Environment and Climate Heroes (REACH) Scholarship Fund

Area of Study/Interest: Environment

Awarded to residents of Ventura County who are graduating high school students, community college students: or college freshman, sophomores, or juniors who previously graduated from a high school in Ventura County. Applicant must be enrolled or intend to enroll full time at an accredited California college. Applicants must be a person of color (African American or Black, Asian, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino, or First Nations/American Indian/Alaskan Native). Applicants must have minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA. Preference given to applicants who are first generation college students.

Required Essay: In 100 words, please describe why you are interested in environmentalism, and what you have done or plan to do to preserve and protect the environment.
