William and JoAnne Miller Scholarship Fund

College Major: Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Awarded to Ventura County residents who are graduating high school seniors or applicants who have graduated from any Ventura County high school OR applicants who are currently enrolled in a community college AND will enrolling full-time in a 4-year public or private college or university in the fall. Applicants must have minimum 2.0 unweighted GPA. Applicants must demonstrate their involvement in extracurricular activities, either on or off campus, as well as work experience and a strong desire to earn a STEM-related degree. Preference will be given to residents of Moorpark, Camarillo, and Newbury Park. Preference given to applicants who intend to live and work in Ventura County after graduation. Preference given to first generation college students. This scholarship may be used for graduate level degrees for awardees who were initially awarded this scholarship as a transfer student from a community college to a 4-year college or university.
After the first year, previous recipients may reapply for up to three years, and will be awarded the scholarship if all other eligibility requirements are met.
