Ventura County Cattlemen's Association Scholarship Fund

Field of Study: Animal Agriculture Industry

Awarded to applicants who plan to serve in the animal agriculture industry, who are attending or will attend a trade/technical/certificate program, a 4-year college or university, or a graduate level degree.
Preference given to Ventura County residents. Preference given to applicants who plan to return to Ventura County after graduation. Preference given to applicants with a minimum of 2.5 unweighted GPA. Preference given to applicants who demonstrate a relationship with the Ventura County Cattlemen’s Association. Preference given to applicants who demonstrate a a relationship with the California Cattlemen’s Association. Preference given to applicants who have served in a leadership role in a agriculture related club/association (ex:. 4-H, Grange, Young Cattlemen’s). Preference given to previous recipients of the Ventura County Cattlemen’s Association Scholarship Fund.
