College Major: Education/Teaching

Awarded to a resident of Ventura County who is a graduating high school senior, or who is transferring from a community college to a 4-year college or university, or who has a BA/BS and is pursuing a teaching credential. Applicants must be working towards bachelor’s degree with an intent to teach or in the process of attaining a teaching credential. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. New applicants must have a minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA. Preference given to previous recipients of the Katherine F. Durr and Agnes Loraine Flynt Teaching Scholarship.
