NewCo Foundation Progressive Civic Leadership Scholarship

Area of Study: Public Service

Awarded to Ventura County residents who are graduating high school seniors from public high schools in Ventura County wo will enroll in an accredited community college, 4-year college or university, or a vocational/trade/technical program. Applicants must be pursuing a career in public service with an intent to benefit society through progressive civic leadership. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Applicants must have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0.

Award amounts: $10,000 for 4-year college or university, $1,000 for community college and trade/technical/certificate programs. Award amounts are based on the academic status selected in the general application. If the awardee submits proof of enrollment for a lower academic status than selected in the general application, the award amount will be decreased. If the awardee submits proof of enrollment for a higher academic status, the award amount will not be increased.
