Awarded to female resident of Ventura County who is graduating or has graduated from a public high school in Ventura County and who will enroll or is enrolled in a four-year college or university. Applicants must have a minimum 3.5 unweighted GPA. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Applicants must have participated in college prep curriculum in high school. Applicants must be first generation college students. Preference given to applicants who live in the following ZIP codes: 93036, 93060,93040, 93033,93030. Preference given to previous recipients of the Singer Collins Cary Honorary Scholarship Fund.
