Awarded to a graduating high school seniors from Buena High School in Ventura or applicants who have graduated from Buena High School in Ventura. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA. Applicants are required to upload a brief video narrative (3 to 5 minutes) describing why they want to be a nurse and what makes a good nurse. Preference given to applicants who will attend a 4-year college or university.
